Winter boots do not have to cost a hundred euros. At Gribzy, women’s winter ankle boots and knee-high boots start at 10 euros and men’s winter boots at 22 euros. Many models are limited stock and not every size is available on every model, so choose your size on the product page to check. Below are our picks, plus tips on sizing and boot care for a Baltic winter.

Women’s winter ankle boots

Ankle boots are the most practical choice for a Baltic winter: quick to put on, good with trousers or skirts, and comfortable indoors on a warm bus. These come in a wide size range:

  • Khaki, sizes 36 to 41: calm and easier to style than black.
  • Black and beige, sizes 36 to 40: go with everything.
  • Green, sizes 36 to 41: for something a little bolder.

Knee-high and heeled boots

Black heeled boots, sizes 36 to 41, a classic with a coat and a dress.

Genuine leather heeled boots in camel or black are our best-quality pair. Leather lasts if you care for it.

Silver heeled ankle boots and black faux-leather classic ankle boots, both in sizes 36 to 41, for parties and New Year’s Eve.

Men’s winter boots

Everyday ankle boots for jeans and trousers through autumn and winter, in the full size range 40 to 45.

Sizing tips

  1. Measure in the evening, when feet are slightly larger.
  2. Measure standing, heel to longest toe, and use the larger foot.
  3. Leave about 1 cm for a thicker sock. Tight boots restrict circulation and feet get cold faster.
  4. Between sizes? Go up. You can add an insole; you cannot make a small boot bigger.
  5. Try them on at home on a clean floor. Unworn shoes can be returned within 14 days.

Boot care in salt and snow

  • Wipe off road salt the same day with a damp cloth.
  • Dry at room temperature, never on a radiator.
  • Stuff wet boots with newspaper to absorb moisture and keep the shape.
  • Treat real leather with cream or wax once a month.
  • Rotate two pairs so each one dries out fully.

Winter is hard on feet too. See our winter foot care guide and the IDC Institute range in Body Care.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right winter boot size online?

Measure your foot in the evening, standing, from heel to longest toe. Add about 1 cm for a winter boot so a thicker sock fits. If you are between sizes, go up.

Can I return boots if they don't fit?

Yes. You can return unworn shoes within 14 days. Try them on at home on a clean floor and keep the box.

How do I protect boots from road salt?

Wipe salt off with a damp cloth the same day and let boots dry at room temperature, not on a radiator. Salt dries out and cracks the material.

Why do some boots only come in one or two sizes?

Many of our boots are limited stock, and only some sizes are left on certain models, which is also why prices are low. Pick your size on the product page to check.
