Spooky cloth is a length of 100% polyester fabric, available in black, grey or white. It is sheer and stretchy, so you can hang it over furniture, doors and stair rails to create a cobwebbed, abandoned-house look.

Pick a colour to match your scheme, and layer two colours for a more convincing effect. Pull it apart gently so it looks torn. Cut pieces from the roll to size, as the cloth can be shortened without fraying much, and keep it away from candles and heaters.
